About Animax

Animax was founded in 1982 by experienced veterinarian Les Porter BVMS FRCVS, who recognised that technological and scientific advancements that can increase yields and production, optimise fertility and support animal health, would become crucial for farmers.

Animax is a pioneering British company which specialises in the research, development and manufacture of highly effective animal health products. Animax is the market leader in trace element supplementation for livestock.

Based in Suffolk in the UK, we are best known for our range of leaching boluses which deliver a prolonged release of the key trace elements. Copper, cobalt, iodine and selenium are the four trace elements which are essential for supplementation in low trace element diets in livestock. The boluses leach known and optimum levels of these elements for up to 6 months.

Our leaching boluses are sold in the UK under the Tracesure brand and in the Republic of Ireland under the Allsure and Tracesure brands. We also produce other leading brands such as Copasure, Copinox, Easycal, Pardevit and Paracide 62.

We operate to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and are accredited by the Feed Materials Assurance Scheme (FEMAS).

We will do this by combining our enthusiasm for scientific innovation with our passion for animal welfare and by researching and investing in ever more effective strategies for supplementing animal health.
